Middlemuir & Kypemuir Windfarms – Electrical Works within Control Buildings
How we helped
Appointed electrical contractor in October 2017 our task was to undertake the full electrical installation of the Banks Renewables main control buildings, within both sites.
Services provided by R&A included all lighting, small power, heating, fire & security alarms, CCTV systems. Due to our performance on both sites, R&A were requested to carry out the installation & termination of all protection & control cabling requirements to all essential HV switchgear, control panels & DC battery racks.
This phase of the project required working in very close partnership with all the relevant stakeholders including the site commissioning teams to ensure the successful completion of these works to accommodate wind-turbine installation & commissioning dates, which were successfully met at all stages.
