2023 has seen seven new apprentices employed across all departments
- R&A Fire & Security is working towards NSI Gold certification for Fire & Security. It’s the most widely recognised mark of approval in security and fire safety.
- 4th stage electrical apprentice has successfully gained full electrician status.
- R&A Group have successfully won a contract to put in new office and welfare modular buildings at Sollom Voe Terminal in the Shetland Islands.
- R&A Group Ltd was commissioned to install a 100kW Solar PV Scheme for our client. This was an extension to the original 100kW system installed by ourselves in 2016. The project included a ballast mounting system to allow 182 Solar PV modules to be installed on top of a sealed water tank. Other works within the project included MCC alterations works, installation of containment, installation of cabling and commissioning of the system.
- R&A have installed a Dual 22kw Alfen A/C charger and 40kw Kempower DC charger on one of our sites. We also installed these units with O-PEN protection fed from the main MCC on this Site.
- R&A Group have started works on a new Hub Charging Station for one of our clients. We will be installing 400kw DC System with 4 satellite units. We will also be installing 8 dual 22kw AC chargers. Civil works have now started, this will include new GRP base which will house 2x MCCs to supply the chargers.
